Job Summary
The Y is seeking a dedicated individual for the position of Behavioral Case Aide. You will provide support for participants and their families primarily in the YMCA Behavioral Rehabilitative Services (BRS) Program. Participants in the BRS program have been involved in the child welfare system and may be residing with foster parents, kinship caregivers/relatives, or their birth parent(s). The Behavioral Case Aide works closely with treatment team members providing clinical support to participants and families within the program. Behavioral Case Aides also work to provide support to participants and families in school, home, and community environments. Behavioral Case Aides may also work with participants in traditional foster care to provide visitation supervision.
This position is at the Social Impact Center Y, the social services branch of YMCA of Greater Seattle (YGS). The mission of the Social Impact Center Y is to accelerate young people’s ability to build safe, successful, and happy lives. Every year, we serve 5,000 children, youth, young adults, and families across King County with programs that aim to strengthen young people’s ability to develop to their fullest potential through four strategies: reducing risk factors; navigating systems towards successful life transition; ensuring stability, safety and wellness in times of crisis; and building competencies and social capital. The Social Impact Center Y’s programs include housing, behavioral health, foster care licensing, violence prevention, education, and employment. Many of the young people we serve have had involvement in the foster care, criminal justice system, and/or homelessness systems.

Every day hundreds of children utilize our Kid Zone drop in child care centers within our membership facilities, engaging in activities and building new relationships with our staff and other participants. You will be part of an amazing staff team who provide enrichment and safe supervision, teach teamwork and social skills, and support children as they grow and learn. You will be able to develop and implement program activities while also building positive relationships by providing prompt and courteous service to members, participants, and guests. You will also support other programming such as Parents Night Outs, Birthday Parties and Family nights and events.

Provides comprehensive, short-term crisis outreach services to children and families in King County with children experiencing a mental health or behavioral emergency. SUMMARY
Resident Camp Cooks assists the Food Service Director in all camp food services for camp staff and guests. Our kitchen staff take part in trainings with other members of the program teams and will get training in their department and their specific kitchen position. They’ll work alongside the full-time kitchen team to help with food prep, dishwashing and maintaining overall cleanliness of the kitchen. This is a crucial role in providing delicious and healthy camp meals in a highly organized manner. All members of the kitchen team will be supervised by the Food Services Director and perform other duties as assigned.
