Rock Climbing Instructors are certified to work at all of the Y’s artificial climbing sites in King County. We have four climbing sites located at YMCA branches in Auburn, Shoreline, Bothell, and SeaTac. Our climbing positions involve working with various ages and skill levels from youth to adult, teaching skills and technique through program instruction and ensuring a safe and organized climbing environment. We are looking for applicants who have a passion for helping people push themselves and learn through adventure. Applicants must be safety conscious and dedicated to using best practices at all times. Site-specific training and certification is required and provided. The ability to travel to all YGS Climbing Tower locations is not essential.

The Inclusion Director oversees a team of staff who provide direct support to campers who need extra support while at camp. They support Mental, Emotional and Social Health needs of campers, with the aim of helping everyone to feel safe, happy, and comfortable while always ensuring the supervision and safety of campers. They supervise a small team of Camper Support Coordinators. The Inclusion Director is supervised by the Summer Program Director and performs other duties as assigned. SUMMARY

This includes art projects, visiting our saltwater touch tank, “Life in the Forest” (an energetic tag game), archery, beach walks, and tactile activities like Rope Bridge and Geodome. When not working in their assigned program area, an Arts & Earth Program Counselor provides supervision and enrichment to a specific group of campers. Arts & EarthProgram Counselors ensure the supervision and safety of campers at all times. During staff training, Arts & Earth Program Counselors are supervised by Unit Directors and perform other duties as assigned.

Facilitate group games, arts and STEM in a drop-in care program
Job Summary
Every day hundreds of children utilize our Kid Zone drop in child care centers within our membership facilities, engaging in activities and building new relationships with our staff and other participants. You will be part of an amazing staff team who provide enrichment and safe supervision, teach teamwork and social skills, and support children as they grow and learn. You will develop and implement program activities while also building positive relationships by providing prompt and courteous service to members, participants and guests. Kid Zone Leads also provide guidance and leadership to Kid Zone Counselors as needed, and support other programming such as Parents Night Outs, Birthday Parties and Family nights and events.
