Responsibilities will include working with SIC staff and Advisory Board to ensure a successful Q1 Annual Fund Drive, working with a portfolio of individuals to acquire, cultivate, solicit, and steward major gifts of $10,000 or higher and working with the Grants Team to support narrative/budget elements for SIC focused grants and contracts. This Director will lead the strategy to future develop a culture of philanthropy to advance annual and major giving programs.   Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday with occasional nights and weekends as needed.   Flexible Work, also called remote work or telecommuting, is a flexible work location arrangement that permits YGS employees to work at home, at a non-office location, at a satellite office, a YGS facility or any of the above. In partnership with DCYF, this qualified residential treatment program in Bellevue, WA will serve up to 6 children at any one time and will focus on utilizing behavioral rehabilitative, trauma-informed, and client centered approaches for their care and service. This position will be responsible for providing daily supervision of the children, including implementing clinically focused and supportive intervention services, providing developmentally appropriate and culturally responsive activities, and ensuring general daily care for all residents.   POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK Schedule/hours vary depending on which role: Daytime or Swing, Part-time or full-time. Hours may vary and are flexible according to staff availability and program needs.     This position is at the Social Impact Center Y, the social services branch of YMCA of Greater Seattle (YGS). The mission of the Social Impact Center Y is to accelerate young people’s ability to build safe, successful, and happy lives. Every year, we serve 5,000 children, youth, young adults, and families across King County with programs that aim to strengthen young people’s ability to develop to their fullest potential through four strategies: reducing risk factors; navigating systems towards successful life transition; ensuring stability, safety and wellness in times of crisis; and building competencies and social capital. The Social Impact Center Y’s programs include housing, behavioral health, foster care licensing, violence prevention, education, and employment.
