Job Summary
This LifeSet Case Manager position is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and dedicated team working with young adults in King and Pierce Counties! Case Managers work with a limited caseload (8-10 young adults at a time) doing intensive and clinically focused case management services, including treatment plans, safety planning, functional analysis, and supportive group and individual supervision. The LifeSet program is an evidence based case management model that is being implemented at the Y Social Impact Center in King and Pierce Counties in partnership with Youth Villages. We serve young adults 18-22 years old. We are grounded in a strength-based approach that supports young people as they build life skills and achieve their personal goals as they strive for self-sufficiency.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
What You’ll Get from Working at The Y
Hiring Range: $24.00 – $26.40/hr
This safety-sensitive role requires transporting clients as “authorized drivers” for the Y using your vehicle. This offer is contingent upon meeting the following conditions: Being 25+, having a valid driver's license for at least three years and possessing a driving record that meets Y standards (no more than two moving violations within the last three years, no significant incidents such as reckless driving, DUI/DWI, no tickets 20+ miles above the speed limit etc. within 5 years). and proof of current auto insurance; minimum recommended coverage limits are $300,000 per incident, and current vehicle registration is required. You must also pass a drug screen that will test for impairing substances, including marijuana. Do you meet the above requirements and have interest in becoming an authorized driver for the YMCA?
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in social work, social services, or a closely related field.
Life experience with poverty, child welfare, homelessness, behavioral health, or youth violence and a desire to use that experience to improve the lives of others.
