You will develop and implement program activities while also building positive relationships by providing prompt and courteous service to members, participants and guests. This position is responsible for managing a team of certified peer outreach case managers and working directly with the Senior Program Director to support contracts, funding, and monitoring the electronic health record entries for assigned staff.  This position will oversee outcomes and grant required deliverables, provide quality assurance for participants, direct supervision of staff including approving staff expenses and credit card charges, approve and sign off on timesheets and PTO, attend program/funder meetings, and ensure continuity of program and services. This position will work closely with the other program directors and senior director of the Violence Prevention programs as well as other SIC leaders. This position will oversee assigned staff and contracts serving youth and families affected by gun violence and/or group/gang involvement, involvement with the juvenal justice system, and/or other systems. These programs will connect youth and families to services, resources, social and wellbeing supports, and working toward freeing their lives of violence and systems involvement. This position is at the Social Impact Center Y, the social services branch of YMCA of Greater Seattle (YGS). We will be accountable to marginalized communities for creating equitable and sustainable environments where social justice is woven into every facet of our programs, and by caring for our communities in a culturally versatile and respectful manner.   Job Summary Along with a Mental Health Crisis Therapist (MHCT), provides emergent outreaches to Young Adult Housing and Shelter programs to support young adults experiencing a behavioral or mental health crisis.  This position will support the MHCT and housing staff utilizing de-escalation techniques to stabilize the situation, assist the MHCT to work with the young adult and housing staff to develop a Safety Plan and Action Plan  focused on the priority needs.  When it is determined that a respite placement is appropriate, the Crisis Case Manager (CCM) may assist with transporting the young adult to respite, offer case management supporting the client’s respite plan, and coordinate with the housing program staff in order to facilitate a smooth transition back to the host site.   This position supports the young adults who enroll in CORS-YA services to stabilize their placement through case management activities identified on the Action Plan. This includes, but is not limited to, coping skill building, connecting to or re-engaging with on-going services, identifying family or other supportive adult connections, etc. The CCM supports CORS-YA partnerships with community agencies through proactive engagement.   Licensed and highly experienced supervision and training is a cornerstone of the CORS-YA team approach along with professional consultation and team collaboration.    This position is at the Social Impact Center Y, the social services branch of YMCA of Greater Seattle (YGS). The care coordinator uses strong leadership skills to organize, develop and facilitate wraparound family team meetings, and is responsible for leading the team through the phases of WISe. The WISe care coordinator will work with youth and families with complex needs involved in multiple systems (criminal justice, mental health, foster care, substance use, etc.) In addition, the WISe care coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing individualized family care plans and expanding the involvement of natural team members and systems. This sometimes entails assuming a case management function, accessing formal resources, coordinating care, responding to crises, serving as an advocate, and providing documentation. In this role, you will guide elementary age participants through sports, arts, STEM, and other hands-on learning activities at a Y Before and After-School Enrichment (BASE) program which is designed to provide a safe and caring place for students outside of the classroom. You will support the program supervisor and help teach teamwork and social emotional learning to kids as they grow and learn all while encouraging skill building, creative exploration, physical activity, and most of all, fun. Lead instructors will also be supporting our Play Everyday Program 2 - 4 days per week during the middle of the day which is a recess based program at their school.    *This is a Full-Time Onsite Position.
