Arlington Apartments are located in Tacoma, WA and owned by the Tacoma Housing Authority (THA).The building has 58 units of housing designed for young adults. This position will work within a team to provide case management services to residents at Arlington Apartments. Services include supporting each participant to achieve their goals towards maintenance of safe and stable housing, employment, education, navigating resources, building community, and developing life skills as they strive for self-sufficiency.    Candidates with direct experience working with young adults (18-24) who are experiencing homeless is preferred but not required. This position will actively engage in the tenant referral process, and ongoing case management of tenants. May-August at our Cottage Lake Park Pool facility. Coordinates and supervises the day-to-day operations of the aquatic programs. Maintains safe swimming conditions in the pool, deck, and surrounding areas.  Creates a safe and positive atmosphere that promotes member safety and engagement in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures. Lifeguards and teaches classes as assigned. Acts as a liaison and champion for YMCA Whole Person Health.  Hiring Range: $24/hour - $26.40/hour DOE   Shift Information: Full-Time position.
