Job Summary
Housing Stability for Youth in Courts (HSYNC) is a prevention program that represents a state-wide partnership between juvenile courts, local social service providers, and the Office of Homeless Youth. The goal of the program is to prevent youth homelessness by utilizing the juvenile court as a pivotal triage point to identify and refer youth and their families in need to appropriate services, including referrals to family-based prevention services for those at risk of experiencing homelessness as well as referrals for those currently experiencing homelessness. The HSYNC program primarily functions as a prevention tool and will work closely with the King County Juvenile Court to uphold the prevention model. Our goal is to reach youth and their families, who touch the juvenile justice system, before a youth becomes homeless. The King County HSYNC Navigator will:
- Connect and collaborate with King County’s Juvenile Justice System and other community partners
- Support, advocate, case manage and connect youth and families touching the juvenile justice system to housing resources
- Assist the HSYNC Director in providing training and supports to the statewide HSYNC county partners
This position is at the Social Impact Center Y, the social services branch of YMCA of Greater Seattle (YGS). Assistant Program Directors provide leadership across all of camp’s programs. SUMMARY
Resident Camp Cooks assists the Food Service Director in all camp food services for camp staff and guests. Our kitchen staff take part in trainings with other members of the program teams and will get training in their department and their specific kitchen position. They’ll work alongside the full-time kitchen team to help with food prep, dishwashing and maintaining overall cleanliness of the kitchen. This is a crucial role in providing delicious and healthy camp meals in a highly organized manner. All members of the kitchen team will be supervised by the Food Services Director and perform other duties as assigned.

As the Program Supervisor of our Year Round Youth Development Programs you will lead and develop our before and after school during the school year and day camp staff in the summer. This position will serve on an engaging and dynamic team, playing a key role in ensuring planning and implementation of developmentally appropriate activities and curriculum are provided to the participants. You will oversee the planning and implementation of a safe and quality child care program providing day-to-day support and overall management of the program site. You will supervise and evaluate the staff and volunteers, including hiring and training, maintaining required staff/child ratios and conducting regular staff meetings. You will be an important part of helping maintain professional relationships with families, facility/school personnel, and the community.

SUMMARY
The Islanders program is a four-week kayaking expedition course for teens entering 10th-12th grade. Trip Leaders for this program will be responsible for leading a group of teens out into the San Juan Islands for adventure, peer to peer leadership and skill development. Trip Leaders will teach advanced boat handling, advanced navigation, and expedition planning, and will be responsible for trip logistics and route planning.
When not leading the Islanders expedition course, Islanders Trip Leaders will support other camp operations, including, but not limited to, leading non-Islanders courses, facilitating training, and supporting in Outtrip.

SUMMARY
Media Coordinates work within The Media Team to photograph and record the day-to-day life of campers at Camp Orkila on beautiful Orcas Island, WA.The Media Team is responsible for capturing and editing candid and posed photos and videos of staff and participants, creating media content, and managing social media accounts (including Instagram, Facebook, Smugmug, etc).Previous experience with video and photo equipment isrequired. Media Coordinators are supervised by the Media Director and perform other duties as assigned.

SUMMARY
Camp Orkila's Outtrip Coordinatorsare responsible for ensuring that all overnight trips have proper food and equipment. Additionally, Outtrip Coordinatorsmaintain inventories, clean and repair supplies, and support staff and participants in preparing for their trips.
Outtrip Coordinators have a secondary role in supporting Teen Expedition programs by assisting with facilitating programs, providing overnight cabin coverage, and working directly with youth in these programs. Outtrip Coordinators are supervised by an Assistant Director and perform other duties as assigned.

A Summer Camp Cabin Counselor provides supervision and enrichment to a specific group of campers at Camp Orkila on beautiful Orcas Island, WA.A Summer Camp Cabin Counselor serves as a professional role model for our campers by leading through example and guiding campers through recreational activities that teach life skills, encourage healthy and safe behaviors, and create a positive camper experience. Recreational activities with campers include but are not limited to arts and crafts, sports, social recreation, songs, nature hikes, archery, and other games and enrichment activities. Summer Camp CabinCounselors are supervised by Unit Directors and perform other duties as assigned.
