As the Program Supervisor of our Year Round Youth Development Programs you will lead and develop our before and after school and day camp staff. This position will serve on an engaging and dynamic team, playing a key role in ensuring planning and implementation of developmentally appropriate activities and curriculum are provided to the participants. You will oversee the planning and implementation of a safe and quality child care program providing day-to-day support and overall management of the program site. You will supervise and evaluate the staff and volunteers, including hiring and training, maintaining required staff/child ratios and conducting regular staff meetings. You will be an important part of helping maintain professional relationships with families, facility/school personnel, and the community. This position is a regular year round positon that works within our youth enrichment programs throughout the year, in our before and after school programs during the school year and within one of our summer camps during the summer.  In the supervisor role you will oversee and work alongside your staff team during the before and after school program hours.   Position Type/Location This is an in-person, Full-Time role. Shifts are a combination of AM programming (7am to start of school) and afternoon programming (2pm to 6pm M-F, with early release days starting at 1pm). Administrative hours are provided and AM shifts are variable due to program need.  The position is based out of one location. The Arlington Drive Apartments are owned by the Tacoma Housing Authority (THA) and will have 58 units of housing designed for young adults. This Case Manager role will work with a limited caseload (8-10 young adults at a time) doing intensive and clinically focused case management services, including treatment plans, safety planning, functional analysis, and supportive group and individual supervision. The LifeSet program is an evidence-based case management model that is being implemented in partnership with Youth Villages at the Y’s Social Impact Center. We are grounded in a strength-based approach that supports young people as they build life skills and achieve their personal goals as they strive for self-sufficiency.   This position is at the Y’s Social Impact Center, the social services branch of the Y of Greater Seattle. The supportive health services include: Chronic Disease Prevention and Management Interventions, Personal Wellness Planning, Nutrition Services, and/or Health Coaching both in-person and virtually. Navigator provides support and guidance to participants using motivational interviewing skills and ensuring high quality program delivery in line with curriculum standards. Interacts with individuals referred to the Navigation Hub, engaging in phone, email, text and in-person communications to conduct care coordination and program enrollment.     The Community Health Navigator will be part of a larger team operating out of the central Association Office supporting all YMCA branches in King County. The Navigator will work both remotely and in-person, with regular requirements to be onsite at the downtown Association Office or other branches periodically. Given the diverse populations served by the YMCA throughout King and South King County, preferred candidates will have awareness of populations experiencing health inequities in King County.
