Navigator provides support and guidance to participants using motivational interviewing skills and ensuring high quality program delivery in line with curriculum standards. Interacts with individuals referred to the Navigation Hub, engaging in phone, email, text and in-person communications to conduct care coordination and program enrollment.     The Bilingual Community Health Navigator will be part of a larger team operating out of the central Association Office supporting all YMCA branches in King County. The Navigator will work both remotely and in-person, with regular requirements to be onsite at the downtown Association Office or other branches periodically. Given the diverse populations served by the YMCA throughout King County, preferred candidates will be able to speak English and Somali, and will have awareness of populations experiencing health inequities in King County. YMCA health programs are non-prescriptive and seek to build individual self-efficacy for health, and the ideal candidate will be able to lead with empathy.   Position Type/Location This position will work full-time Monday-Friday. Responsibilities will include working with a portfolio of individuals, foundations, corporations and other capital funding sources from identification to stewardship. Fundraising activities include cultivating, soliciting, securing and stewarding gifts from a variety of funding sources. The AVP of Capital and Major Gifts will work closely with the Branch Executive Directors, Branch and Association Board of Directors, the Development team, and other staff to carry out comprehensive capital development and individual/major giving priorities.   Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday with occasional nights and weekends as needed.   Flexible Work, also called remote work or telecommuting, is a flexible work location arrangement that permits YGS employees to work at home, at a non-office location, at a satellite office, a YGS facility or any of the above.
