Job Summary

The Bilingual Community Health Navigator provides supportive health services to individuals and groups in English and in Somali, they promote and help make the Y's chronic disease programs and services culturally and linguistically appropriate for the Somali community, and are responsible for community outreach to connect the Somali community to the Y’s programs and services. The supportive health services include: Chronic Disease Prevention and Management Interventions, Personal Wellness Planning, Nutrition Services, and/or Health Coaching both in-person and virtually. Navigator provides support and guidance to participants using motivational interviewing skills and ensuring high quality program delivery in line with curriculum standards. Interacts with individuals referred to the Navigation Hub, engaging in phone, email, text and in-person communications to conduct care coordination and program enrollment.
The Bilingual Community Health Navigator will be part of a larger team operating out of the central Association Office supporting all YMCA branches in King County. The Navigator will work both remotely and in-person, with regular requirements to be onsite at the downtown Association Office or other branches periodically. Given the diverse populations served by the YMCA throughout King County, preferred candidates will be able to speak English and Somali, and will have awareness of populations experiencing health inequities in King County. YMCA health programs are non-prescriptive and seek to build individual self-efficacy for health, and the ideal candidate will be able to lead with empathy.
Position Type/Location
This position will work full-time Monday-Friday. This role is based out of our Association Office in Seattle, following a hybrid work schedule working primarily in-office with occasional remote assignments.

Job Summary
Reporting to the VP Director, the Critical Incident Director serves as primary response and on-scene leadership for Community Safety Specialist/Violence Interrupters. They are an integral part of a functional Critical Incident Response System, and they provide on-site leadership at critical incidents.
Critical Incidents include:
- Gun violence/shots fired deployed by police departments and/or community members
- Any acts of violence related to homicide and/or serious assault
- Credible threats of retaliation
- Knowledge of meetings/gatherings of involved gangs/groups

This position is at the Social Impact Center Y, the social services branch of YMCA of Greater Seattle (YGS). The mission of the Social Impact Center Y is to accelerate young people’s ability to build safe, successful, and happy lives. Every year, we serve 5,000 children, youth, young adults, and families across King County with programs that aim to strengthen young people’s ability to develop to their fullest potential through four strategies: reducing risk factors; navigating systems towards successful life transition; ensuring stability, safety and wellness in times of crisis; and building competencies and social capital. The Social Impact Center Y’s programs include housing, behavioral health, foster care licensing, violence prevention, education, and employment. Many of the young people we serve have had involvement in the foster care, criminal justice system, and/or homelessness systems.

Job Summary
The On-Call Case Manager Lead (Arlington) is a unique opportunity to provide onsite support services to residents and building oversight at Arlington Apartments in Tacoma when needed based on 24/7 scheduling needs. The young adult residents of Arlington have experienced housing instability, many of which are parents and may have experience in foster care, chronic homelessness, disconnection from school, juvenile justice and/or other systems.

SUMMARY
The Associate Vice President of Capital and Major Gifts will be responsible for developing the strategy and leading the implementation of major giving and capital campaign initiatives for YGS. Responsibilities will include working with a portfolio of individuals, foundations, corporations and other capital funding sources from identification to stewardship. Fundraising activities include cultivating, soliciting, securing and stewarding gifts from a variety of funding sources. The AVP of Capital and Major Gifts will work closely with the Branch Executive Directors, Branch and Association Board of Directors, the Development team, and other staff to carry out comprehensive capital development and individual/major giving priorities.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday with occasional nights and weekends as needed.
