Maintains safe swimming conditions in the pool, on deck, and surrounding areas. This unique position provides brief, home-based intensive stabilization services to the families of children/youth (ages 2-20) with developmental disabilities in King County. As the Program Supervisor of our School Aged programs you will lead and develop our before and afterschool elementary child care staff. This position will serve on an engaging and dynamic team, playing a key role in ensuring planning and implementation of developmentally appropriate activities and curriculum are provided to the participants. You will oversee the planning and implementation of a safe and quality child care program providing day-to-day support and overall management of the program site. This position is a regular on going positon that works within our youth enrichment programs throughout the year, in our before and after school programs during the school year and within one of our summer camps during the summer.
Job Sites Include: Woodway Elementary (9521 240th St SW, Edmonds, WA 98020 ), Westgate Elementary (9601 220th St SW, Edmonds, WA 98020) or North City (816 NE 190th St, Shoreline, WA 98155) Locations.
Position Type/Location
This is an in-person, Full-Time role. Shifts are a combination of AM programming (7am to 9am) and afternoon programming (2pm to 6pm M-F, with Wednesday starting at 1pm). Administrative hours are provided and AM shifts are variable due to program need. The position is based out of Woodway Elementary location.

Lead Youth Development Instructors teach teamwork and social skills to children as they grow and learn, providing support to participants in multiple areas from childcare, online learning support, to enrichment & recreation activities. They help support the onsite functions of a site with additional responsibilities related to parent interactions, check in and out and site management.

Job Summary
Provides culturally competent, evidence and strength-based peer support and parenting skills coaching to parents to decrease crisis and increase in-home stabilization. Identifies parenting resources and supports and teaches parents the skills to effectively navigate resources in order to meet priority needs. Collaborates effectively with co-workers, supervisors and outside professionals to meet crisis prevention plan and action plan goals. Helps engage families in the Wraparound Team process. Supports the parents and acts as a bridge between the family and system representatives.

The mission of the Social Impact Center Y is to accelerate young people’s ability to build safe, successful, and happy lives. Every year, we serve 5,000 children, youth, young adults, and families across King County with programs that aim to strengthen young people’s ability to develop to their fullest potential through four strategies: reducing risk factors; navigating systems towards successful life transition; ensuring stability, safety and wellness in times of crisis; and building competencies and social capital. The Social Impact Center Y’s programs include housing, behavioral health, foster care licensing, violence prevention, education, and employment. Many of the young people we serve have had involvement in the foster care, criminal justice system, and/or homelessness systems.

Job Summary
The Children's Crisis Outreach Response System (CCORS) provides comprehensive, short-term crisis outreach services to children and families in King County with children experiencing a mental health or behavioral emergency. On an established rotation and as a part of a team, serves client families 24 hours per day, seven days per week, 365 days per year in all parts of King County. Stabilizes the initial crisis, provides intensive support and links the family to ongoing formal and informal support systems.
