Maintenance Technicians demonstrate knowledge of aspects of landscape and facility maintenance and operations including areas of landscaping, asset and facility maintenance and repair. Demonstrate initiative and work to perform in a leadership capacity directing volunteers and crews, as necessary. Expected to conform to the following: • Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision. • Interact professionally with other employees, customers, and suppliers. • Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments. • Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations. • Observe applicable safety requirements, use safety equipment provided, always implement appropriate safety practices and report immediately any unsafe working conditions or hazards. Maintains and repairs furnishings and equipment, including developing and implementing preventative maintenance plans and related budgets. Supervises staff assigned to housekeeping. Supervised by the Senior Program Director and perform other duties as assigned.   Must be 21 years or older to apply. Our pure expedition (kayaking) courses send teens out into the San Juan Islands for one, two, and four weeks of adventure, peer to peer leadership and skill development. Be part of an amazing team of staff focused on teaching teamwork and social skills, and support children as they grow and learn.  - Transports children to and from program activities and site(s). - Makes daily safety inspections of vehicle. - Reports to supervisor any conditions on vehicle in need attention or correction. - Oversees conduct of children on vehicle. - Follows all driver guidelines and standards. - Follows YMCA policies and procedures, including those related to medical and disciplinary situations, child abuse prevention and emergencies. - May supervise a group of program participants. Hiring Range: Entry $22.00 - Maximum $24.20/Hr   Salary Range: $22.00-$31.90/Hr
