    Job Summary

    Responsible for administrative tasks related to the Camp Colman Summer Camp Program, such as check in and check out rosters and logistics, transportation coordination, parent communication, social media posting, cabin group sorting, and more.


    1. Works with leadership team to ensure that all staff are accounting for campers and safety at all times.
    2. Generate and distribute check in and check out rosters for camper arrival and departure.
    3. Coordinate transportation needs and logistics with Admin Office in downtown Seattle.
    4. Sort campers into cabin groups for each session.
    5. Post on official camp social media sites.
    6. Communicate with program participant parents as needed.
    7. Maintains safety and cleanliness standards. Shares cleaning duties with fellow staff.
    8. Communicates personal or camper/staff needs to supervisor in a timely manner.
    9. Maintains equipment in sound and safe order.
    10. Attends meeting and trainings.
    11. Follows YMCA policies and procedures, including those related to medical and disciplinary situations, child abuse prevention, program and equipment inspection written documentation, and emergencies.
    12. Other duties as assigned


    1. Two years of college or equivalent.
    2. Two years of related office experience.
    3. Excellent office skills, including keyboarding.
    4. Experience and knowledge of various software applications.
    5. Prefer knowledge of, and previous experience with, diverse populations (language, culture, race, physical ability, sexual orientation, etc.). Ability to speak any language in addition to English may be helpful.
