    We are looking for a Digital Experience Manager to help us build an extraordinary web development team. As a Digital Experience Manager, you will seek and represent the voice of the customer, using web analytics, surveys or in person interviews, to continuously improve the customer experience on YMCA of Greater Seattle (YGS) web properties. As a Digital Experience Manager, you will collaborate with teams composed of marketers, content creators, graphic designers, YMCA branch executives, and remote web developers, to build web experiences that site visitors find easy to use.


    1. Work with the Senior Director of Digital Experience to define an extraordinary customer experience for YGS website visitors
    2. Work with the Senior Director of Digital Experience to translate the desired customer experience into a logically sequenced, and optimized product roadmap
    3. Write complete and detailed requirements that ensure clear communication of those requirements to all project participants, including YGS association and branch executives
    4. Use web analytics, surveys, in person interviews, customer feedback, and other voice of the customer channels, to develop a keen understanding of customer needs on YGS web properties
    5. Work with cross-functional teams to establish and execute web experiences and content strategies that drive member acquisition, event awareness, and promote YMCA products, services and its mission
    6. Work with cross-functional teams to develop and run hypothesis driven optimization tests that increase member acquisition, and visitor engagement, on YGS web properties (e.g., A|B testing)
    7. Work with marketers and content creators to publish and maintain content on seattleymca.org. This includes identifying opportunities to develop content management templates (Drupal) that deliver the desired customer experience, and functionality, that you help define

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 2+ years web product management or web product marketing experience
    • Good written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong analytical and quantitative skills — you use data and metrics to back up assumptions, test hypotheses, and evaluate results
    • You seek to build awesome customer experiences, challenge the status quo, and reinvent on behalf of our members and customers
    • Prior experience with content management systems (Drupal) — managing users, workflows, permissions and templates
    • Prior experience with web analytics, SEO and A|B testing


    • 5+ years web product management or web product marketing experience
    • Strong strategic instinct, with proven ability to define business strategy and supporting product roadmap
    • Excellent customer experience intuition, with proven ability to create user-friendly web experiences that provide customer value
    • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a strong bias for data-based decision-making
    • Proven ability to make data-based feature (customer experience) versus time-to-market trade-offs
    • Experience working with remote web development teams in an agile development environment
