  • Overview

We have partnered with the Auburn School District in order to work with families that are dealing with homelessness which gives our staff the opportunity to create a welcoming, active, and fun environment – which they might not be getting otherwise. Our Fit + Fun Before School Program at the Auburn Valley YMCA allows all K – 5 students in the Auburn School District an opportunity for fun and engaging activities before the bell rings.

We maintain lower staff-to-participant ratios in order to give more attention and care to children who will benefit from a stable and caring environment, and exposure to positive role models. Ongoing support and training on working with trauma-impacted children is provided.

Our main shifts for this role are with our morning programs open between 6:30 and 7:00 am and run until 9:00 am. Additional shifts in our afternoon programs are also available with this role.
