Where you’ll work…
You’ll be based out of the Matt Griffin branch in SeaTac, WA. This is one of the 13 branches that offers programs ranging from health and wellness, to family programs, to child care, to aquatics (access is a staff benefit - swim a few laps before work, take a yoga class, do some laps on the track before you go home, if you like!). Specifically the Seattle Y offers Programs throughout the greater Seattle area. The programs are located in Seattle and surrounding cities using classrooms, multipurpose rooms, gyms, outdoor spaces and take several field trips throughout the summer.

What you’ll be doing…
As a Community Learning Program Instructor you will be planning, implementing and developing academic curriculum activities for groups of youth. Working on a team of educators and YMCA staff to help determine the academic and enrichment focus for students. You will co-lead Small Group activities consisting of enrichment that will focus on relationship building, leadership and fun.

If you're the right candidate for the job, you are excited to spend your time impacting the lives of youth and you have a desire to enable students in highschool to achieve their potential. You have the ability to build strong relationships on an individual level and with communities. You have a track record of being able to develop and implement quality programming and know how to provide support and a sense of belonging to others.
