    We are looking for ROCK STAR CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE to join the team who can help with our busy afternoon and early evening hours.

    Here is an example of shifts we are looking to fill during the week.

    • M-F: 1:15pm to 6:00pm
    • Sa: 11:45am to 4:30pm

    Where you’ll work…


    You’ll be based out of the Dale Turner Family Y (located along Aurora Avenue North near N 192nd St). Our facility serves an incredibly diverse community in Shoreline and Edmonds. We offer multiple programs including health and wellness, family programs, youth enrichment, and aquatic safety. Our branch offers scholarships and other financial assistance to remove barriers and encourage everyone to join our cause as a member or program participant.


    As a part of our team you will have full access to the Y. Swim a few laps before work, take a yoga class, do some cardio or strength training before you go home if you like!


    The Seattle Y offers a competitive pay range and part time or full time benefit packages, as eligible.


    What you’ll be doing…

    We have an awesome opportunity for the critical position of Member Engagement Representative (Customer Service Representative).  In this role, you will provide our members exceptional customer service, developing strong and supportive relationships that provide motivation and guidance focused on the specific needs of each member.  You will play an important role in connecting members with programs and activities that will help them achieve their goals. You will also assist people in the membership and program enrollment process.


    Who are you?

    If you're the right candidate for the job, you love working with people. You can make people feel welcome and are curious about who they are and what they want to accomplish. You are as comfortable getting to know people as you are navigating online systems. You are able to learn new software systems, are detail oriented, and are able to shift gears from data entry to engaging with a member face to face. You step up and offer support at the first sign it's needed. Ideally, you will have the flexibility to commit 4-5 days a week to fill our 1:15pm-6:00pm shift.


    You should have:

    1. Six months or more of relevant work experience (sales, retail, reception, customer service, front desk, etc.).
    2. Strong customer service skills, responding to multiple questions via phone, email and in person.
    3. Basic computer skills.
