    Manages the administrative systems related to membership enrollment, accounts receivable, termination and reporting. Acts as a liaison and champion for YMCA Aquatics and Youth Programs.



    Tuesday-Thursday 4:30-8:30pm

    Friday 9-3pm

    Saturday 7-12pm


    1. Maintains accurate membership records and supporting hard copy files.
    2. Reviews and manages monthly bank draft reports and follows up on returned drafts.
    3. Maintains membership accounts receivable including mailing and follow-up on monthly invoices.
    4. Manages group membership accounts.
    5. Maintains up-to-date table files within membership management software.
    6. Inputs data on new, renewing and terminating members into the membership management software.
    7. May conduct membership interviews and tours and assist with member service desk.
    8. Maintains or assists with maintenance of branch website.
    9. Manages the membership financial assistance system and reporting.
    10. Responds to questions from members and has up-to-date information on the Y Total Health and membership programs. Refers members to appropriate program or staff member.
    11. Supports member engagement and retention activities of the branch.
    12. Ensures that membership administration best practices are adhered to and assists with membership audit preparation.
    13. Encourages member involvement and identifies potential volunteers, assists with annual Partners With Youth campaign.
    14. Ensures that guidelines and procedures for accounting and related procedures are followed for cash reporting and other business functions.
    15. Adheres to the components of the Service Pledge.
    16. Attends monthly staff meetings and trainings as required.


    1. Current state approved first aid certification.*
    2. Current state approved CPR and AED certification.*
    3. High school education or equivalent; two or more years of post high school education preferred.
    4. Two years or more of related experience in a service or office environment.
    5. Knowledge of computers, including database and spreadsheet software, membership management software experience preferred.
    6. Knowledge of general office equipment.
    7. Accurate and fast keyboarding skills.
    8. Listen First Level I* and II** training.
    9. Web management training.**
    10. Prefer knowledge of, and previous experience with, diverse populations (language, culture, race, physical ability, sexual orientation, etc.). Ability to speak any language in addition to English may be helpful.

    *       Necessity and timing determined by branch.

    **     Within 60 days of employment or at first available training.
