What you’ll be doing…
As the Mental Health Counselor for Member Wellbeing at our Auburn and SeaTac YMCA branch locations you will be helping support the wellbeing of individuals and the community. You will provide comprehensive counseling to youth, and their families to meet their social emotional needs to help them develop skills and abilities to be successful in all areas of life. You will help provide additional group training for branch staff and bring in additional resources to address topics and the needs identified within your branch.
Who are you?
If you're the right candidate for the job, you are passionate about serving the needs of the community and the needs of youth, young adults and families by providing support services to clients. You have proven experience using an enhancement model to provide education, training and consultation to others and can effectively build relationships.
