More about the position:

We are always looking for additional help towards the end of our summer season. If you are interested in working for Orkila, but cannot commit to a full summer season with us, we would love to have you join the team starting at the end of July. We'll start a mid-summer onboarding on July 23rd. Our summer season will finish on August 31st.

Cabin Counselors create a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment for our campers. Cabin Counselors typically live in a cabin with up to ten campers and a Co-Counselor. They nurture campers' appreciation for the outdoors, support them in making strong friendships, develop their values and create an enriching camp experience. Cabin counselors work with campers entering grades 3-10, are supervised by a Unit Director and perform other duties as assigned.

Please apply to this general Cabin Counselor position if you are interested in being a Traditional Camp Cabin Counselor, Horsemaster Cabin Counselor, and/or Specialty Cabin Counselor.

Please note that if you are interested in multiple positions with Camp Orkila this summer it is only necessary to apply to one posting. We will be happy to consider you for all open positions during the interview process.
