A Logistics Assistant plays a leading role in making sure that every participant who spends time in the wilderness – for a night or four weeks – has everything they need to stay safe and comfortable.
Outtrip Coordinators start and train with Orkila’s Teen Trip Leaders and will have the opportunity to take part in either the sea kayaking or sailing skills trainings. They’ll work alongside Teen Trip Leaders to support Orkila’s Expedition and LDI courses along with the overnight trips offered to every Orkila Traditional Camper. Logistics Assistants run the behind the scenes show, packing food, maintaining Orkila’s equipment and make sure that every trip that spends time away from Camp Orkila is successful.
